What does bison taste like?
Bison tastes similar to natural beef but is sweeter and more tender. (Some people’s perception is that bison is tough or gamey. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is tender, flavorful, delicious and good for you!)

How should it be prepared?
We recommend bison be cooked to medium rare or medium. Because it is such a lean meat, overcooking may  result in a dry burger or steak.

What’s the difference between bison and buffalo?
Bison is the correct scientific name for what people commonly call buffalo.

Is bison a healthy choice?
