Bison Lasagna


Meat filling and noodles

  • 1 lb. TenderBison bison burger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 6oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 package lasagna noodles

Cheese filling

  • 1 lb mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley flakes
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp salt

  1. To prepare meat filling, brown burger with garlic, basil and salt. All tomato paste and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare lasagna noodles as directed on the package. Place 1/2 of the prepared noodles in the bottom of 13×9 inch pan.
  3. Slice mozzarella cheese.
  4. Over noodles, spread 1/2 cheese filling, 1/2 meat filling and 1/2 of the slices of mozzarella.
  5. Lay the rest of the noodles over mozzarella slices and repeat the procedure.
  6. Bake at 375 F for 30 minutes. Let set for at least 10 minutes before cutting.
